What kind of music do we play?
Jazz standards and original compositions. This includes songs that both of us really love such as: Like Someone In Love by Jimmy Van-Husen, and You're Everything by Chick Corea. We also love to perform Moon and Sand by Alec Wilder and Morty Palitz, and Memories of Tomorrow by Keith Jarrett as well as songs by John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Antonio-Carolos Jobim, George Gershwin, Jule Styne, Eddy Arnold and the great Cindy Walker. Plus there are so many more.
We published a CD of songs we wrote together in 2015. It's on Spotify: Love Notes by Sarah Aberg

How long have we been playing together?
Since about 1979 after we got married. I was singing in church choirs and thinking about auditioning for choral groups. Robert had been playing guitar since he was 12, mainly blues and originals but for the past several years jazz standards. He suggested we play something together and I thought about John Dowland. Robert suggested a song Tuck and Patti had recorded, "My Romance" and another from a recording of Ella and Joe Pass called, "'Tis Autumn". Those two songs started off what is now a pretty long list of jazz standards we have worked on through the ages.
Where do we play?
We like to play for people in restaurants, parties, wine tastings, lawn and house concerts, any venue that's suited for listening. Sometimes we play in bars. Mostly we play around Dallas, Tx where we live but we like to travel and play other places when the opportunity presents.
